My family and I had a great time, the baby reef sharks were a highlight, along with the beginners snorkeling. Plenty of food and drink. Kids didn't want to leave but you get about 3.5 hours on the island.
I had forked out extra for the shade cabana but that wasn't really necessary since there were lots of cabanas on the island, maybe it's a better idea in peak times.
It is a 90 min cruise each way and while there is lots of singing etc, if your kids aren't into that maybe take something to occupy them.
