Step off Queenstown's Main Town Pier and onto a big yellow KJet boat for an unforgettable Jet boating experience...
Leave downtown Queenstown in your wake as you power into the channels of two of New Zealand's most scenic waterways; The Kawarau & Shotover rivers!
Skimming over the pure waters of Lake Wakatipu taking in stunning views of the Remarkables Mountain range, we follow the beautiful willow lined Kawarau River, before pursuing the shallower waters and fast-moving braids of the famous Shotover River.
In the shallow waters the Jetboat comes into its own travelling at speeds up to 95 km/ph often in water less than 5cm deep! Your experienced driver will skillfully negotiate the narrow braids, and tight turns of the river while making plenty of time for the exhilarating 360 spins that Jet boats are renowned for.
Covering a full 45 kilometres you get to experience the fantastic diversity of Queenstown's waterways, take in glimpses of local life from the homes lining the lakeshore, as well as stunning views all along the way including river gardens and great views of the Remarkables Mountain Range.
Driven by 60 years of passion, KJet is locally owned and operated and proud of its heritage as the world's first commercial Jet boat operation.

Our group had so much fun. It was a wonderful experience
Great experience but miss leading booking experience . We booked last minute on book me, turned up to the jet ride and time slot we chose was over booked..We had to reschedule. Ended up waiting an hour for next ride.. The actual jet boat ride was actually a great experience. The staff themselves were delightful and helpful. Just wouldn’t book through Book me.
Had loads of fun! Driver is good at explaining and driving!!
Our driver (lockie) i think his name was. He was awesome! Even though it was raining it was still so fun! 10/10 reccomended. I originally booked for 2pm but there was a chance they it may not go out due to not enough people, so I was greatful that they rung and offered me a different time.
