From there a scenic drive over Wilmot Pass, with photo opportunities along the way to view Doubtful Sound glistening below.
Upon arrival at Doubtful Sound, you’ll be welcomed by our crew to board our vessel. Take advantage of her viewing decks in good weather. If the rains set in, come back into the warm and gaze in awe at the jaw-dropping views of Doubtful Sound through the Patea's large glass windows.
Experience a mesmerizing and enchanting cruise through this fiord with rugged peaks, verdant rainforest and twisting, hidden inlets.

Doubtful Sound
Unfortunately we had a couple of small logistical issues which otherwise marred what is quite a remarkable experience. It is quite a long day, but the tour company operates to a high standard with comfortable boats and buses. Friendly staff and informative staff. I would highly recommend the tour.

Excellent. A must-do!
The whole trip is mesmerizing! The haul across the Manapouri lake, then the bus drive through the awesome Wilmot pass and then of course, the piece-de-resistance - the cruise through the Doubtful sound! All perfect. The weather was perfect too - it was overcast, even raining - and that possibly got us to see many more waterfalls. The seals at the end of the outbound cruise were such darlings! Overall, a day well spent. Full value for the money and time invested!

Doubtful Sound is one of the natural beauties of the world. A must see if your in New Zealand. Bookme was very easy to use and to make the booking with. Cheaper than the rest too. Thanks Bookme, we had a fabulous day.

Quelle beauté !🤩
Une expérience incroyable avec la traversée aller/retour du lac Manapuri qui offre faire déjà des vues incroyables. Le trajet en bus avec chauffeur sympathique qui donne des informations éclairées et des arrêts pour des points de vues ;et le Doubtful Sound, grandiose!!!
