Thank you for your review. The change rooms you entered are underfloor heated and this is switched on as winter approaches. Hairdryers are provided in the deluxe lake spa pools. There is a regular schedule of maintenance undertaken on our site, with pools refurbished constantly. Our pools are all geothermal sulphur-rich and sulphate-laden pools and our complex in the middle of a geothermal zone. Our site is heritage-protected and historic with the first deep pool you saw upon entry built in the late 1800s. The area that is cordoned off in the middle of this adults only area houses the old iconic Priest Springs and pools which no-one bathes in, they are protected.
Eintritt ab 21.30h war super...sehr ruhig, wenige Leute. Die Pools sind schön angeordnet, alle finden einen guten Platz. Blick auf den See auch abends top. Sehr fein zum Abschalten und Entspannen!
Thank you Ursula! Hope you can return one day.
Our group of 5 out-of-town residents arrived 10.30 am on a Saturday in late May 2023. The reception guy was welcoming with fuss-free entry, showing our voucher email via phone. Communal changing space was clean, with a few private cubicles. There were about 4 communal showers plus a private one for disabled folk. Plentiful plastic containers for clothing were housed on open shelves near the main undercover pool & we used one locker between us for valuables. We spent 3 glorious hours moving through the series of outdoor pools which range by temperature and acidity/alkalinity. We loved soaking up their healing powers whilst having a great catchup, fabulous for the soul, especially lounging in the ones that face out across the lake. Dry weather was a bonus but there's always the indoor pool if it's wet or miserable. Our visit was mostly very quiet, getting busier towards lunchtime. We opted not to shower afterwards to maximise the minerals. On the way out/in, there's a gorgeous shopping space, café & yummy gelato counter. Overall, this was a fantastic experience which we hadn't had for many years. It's on the Do-It-Again list for the next Rotovegas visit. Tips: Parking - No time limit in the venue's dedicated section, but it fills up later in the day. Mostly 180-minute parking outside of that, which should be enough. Paid locker - One-time use so you'll need to pay again if you go back. Bring - Water bottle, refilling at the water fountains dotted around. Spare towel to take around with you. Jandals for a more pleasant experience when walking around (cold, wet matting doesn't work for me). Hair/face mask to pop on while you're soaking, being careful not to contaminate the waters. Cold shower - There's one tucked beside a pool. Spurts in odd directions so you'll get wet hair.
Great place. Specific areas for adults, family + kids etc. Provate rooms facing the lake. Many choices of pools in the adult area. Temperatures tend to be high but you can find something less hot. Beautiful views.
Worth every penny, fantastic experience, would go every day here if I could, clean, well looked after, very quiet on a Monday morning and great ice cream in the cafe after, don't hesitate, book it!
Thanks, that's a great review. We appreciate it.
