This imaginative 18-hole course guides visitors on a mini journey through the Taupō region’s most iconic landscapes and adventure highlights, from mountains, forests, and scenic walkways to rivers, power stations, and the vibrant town centre.
As players putt their way around the detailed scale replica of Lake Taupō, they’ll pick up interesting local facts and history, making it as educational as it is entertaining. No golfing experience is needed, and in fact beginners and kids often steal the show as they navigate the course’s cheeky surprises.
Expect plenty of laughs with quirky features like dragons, steaming geothermal fields, and creative holes where the ball might drop from a skydive plane or ride a magic carpet up a ski field before tumbling downhill.
The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down either, as the course transforms under colourful LED lights for an exciting evening round.
It’s a light-hearted Taupō experience that blends learning, laughter, and laid-back family fun in one memorable outing!

This was my husband's and my first time playing mini golf, and it was so much fun! The design is incredibly clever, the price is affordable, and it's definitely worth every penny. I'll definitely bring my family back again—and I'll recommend it to all my friends!

This was so much fun. Cannot recommend highly enough. Barbara was so sweet and kind and was so happy for us when we got a hole in one on the last shot. Such a unique mini golf course in the perfect setting. Thank you!

One of the best
What an amazing setup! Very entertaining and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Very busy (understandable being a Saturday, school holidays and with how awesome this course is) but there was enough to sew to help keep the little ones occupied while they waited
