This 2.5 hour kayaking experience provides a wonderful insight into this beautiful harbour and its many islands.
The harbours calm waters are teeming with a vast array of fish species and Orca and NZ Fur Seals visit the area several times a year. Ohiwa is also abundant with birdlife including Kingfishers, Godwits and Herons. It’s easy to see why visitors from all over the world visit Ohiwa to get up close and personal to the areas incredible marine and wildlife.
No experience is required on this fully guided kayaking trip. The team at KG Kayaks will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and you’ll also get to hear about the interesting history and ecosystem of this enchanting part of New Zealand.

KG Kayak Tour
I cannot highly recommend this tour enough. Kenny was the perfect guide. He made you feel very welcome and his knowledge and experience was 2nd to none.
