Get your gear ready at Raglan Rock's Adventure Centre – all equipment is provided and suitable for all seasons, whether it’s lighter wetsuits for summer or super warm, thick insulated wetsuits for winter. This unforgettable journey begins with a short drive and hike into the native bush to reach the canyon. Pass down a canyon stream flowing from Mount Karioi, surrounded by the pure and natural beauty of native bush.
Your guide will help you navigate downstream, tackling a variety of exciting and challenging obstacles. Abseil down waterfalls, climb over rocks, and follow the path of an ancient lava flow — plenty of action to keep your adrenaline pumping. The tour ends on a high with a legendary rock climb up a waterfall!

Great experience
Absolutely loved every minute of it. The team was amazing. Having Kawakawa tea next to the waterfall was a great touch. You do need to have decent fitness for this.

Great guide, passionate for the outdoors and knowledgeable. Sad to see the poor condition of the wet suits, socks and boots , owners need to reinvest into the business as this is a great family adventure. Would be hesitant to recommend to family and friends due to the poor condition of the kit. Thanks Jaap for your valuable contribution and time out.

Hi there, we're stoked to hear you had a great time with Jaap and enjoyed the adventure! We're sorry to hear about your experience with the wetsuits, however. As you can imagine our wetsuits are used thoroughly and have a large amount of use, especially at this time of year. We take huge pride in our experiences and as part of this we try to take the best care of all our equipment, including wetsuits. As you've mentioned some of our suits have begun to deteriorate, but we can assure you they are state of the art New Zealand made wetsuits and are perfectly safe and comfortable for the trips we run. This being said, we are currently in the process of replacing a portion of our stock, but due to shortages of materials and shipping delays there is a national shortage and long wait time for these items in NZ. In regard to the socks and footwear, we do recommend all our guests bring their own footwear and this is clearly stated in our confirmation email once the booking has been made. Again, we're sorry you felt the way you did about the wetsuits, and it's a shame you felt it outweighed the overall enjoyment of the experience. As mentioned, we hope to have new stock as soon as physically possible and thank you for taking the time to pass on your concerns.

C'était notre première expérience de canyoning mais Harry et Max ont été géniaux dans notre encadrement. Si vous voulez expérimenté du canyoning vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, on le referais sans hésiter.
